We waited a very long time for our 'ta-da!' moment. It wasn't quite October when the painting was finished and the scaffold came down, I admit, it was more like July, but it felt like an eternity before it was all done - partly because the painting unearthed wood rot and we had to have foot upon foot of exterior woodwork and three windows replaced. In the end we chose 'Network Grey' with Site White and the darker 'accent' (it's a whole new language I'm learning). Here are the before and after shots:
